Yellow Pages Services
In addition to handling large, complex national yellow pages programs, we also offer consulting services to yellow pages advertisers who place their orders through the publishers' reps. Here are some of the complaints we've heard from them and been able to help them with:

We're not a 'cost cutter' - Some of our clients have been approached by the type of yellow pages agent or consultant referred to in the industry as a 'cost-cutter.' These companies generally make their money by taking a portion of the amount by which they reduce your annual spending, for example, 50% of your first two years' reduction. We are not cost cutters, and we recommend not working with cost cutters. They have a major conflict of interest, because the largest possible reduction in your spending makes them the most money but is not necessarily in your best interest. Also, their recommendations are often rudimentary and involve changes you can request yourself without paying a consultant at all, for example:
· reducing the size of your ads
· reducing the number of directories and/or categories in which you advertise
· removing any enhancements such as white background and color.
Good, honest, high-payback consulting - We charge a fair hourly rate to review your program, listen to your concerns, and provide you with very specific recommendations, ready for you to communicate to your local rep. For our consulting clients who prefer to have no contact with their local reps, we handle that part of the transaction for them as well. In this case, we provide easy-to-understand translations of the advertising contracts and final proofs of artwork. In any case, we save our clients considerably more than our consulting fee in improved advertising value.
