| Steve was born in Cambridge, England,
and grew up in Glasgow, Scotland; Pisa, Italy;
London, England; and Palo Alto, California. He
is a graduate of York, Leeds, and London universities,
where he studied philosophy and education.
Before he joined Leone Advertising, Steve had a 20-year career in teaching, most recently as owner and director of Speak International, an English language school for Spanish students, with residential programs in both England and Spain.
Steve lives in Menlo Park with
his wife, Laurel. Only one of their three boys is
still living at home, but they still get regular
visits from the two college students. He still
manages to play a little guitar, do some photography
and gardening, and tutor some students in ESL (English
as a Second Language). Steve is currently President
of SMUG (Palo Alto/Stanford Mac User Group) and responsible
for their website.
